Thorpe Hall offers care and support to more than 500 people each
year. The 20 bed hospice provides specialist care for
patients, mostly with advanced cancer from Peterborough and the
surrounding area. It provides palliative care which
aims to help people to achieve the best quality of life during each
stage of their illness. Patients are not charged for their care.



Thorpe Hall also has a thriving Day Centre for people who have suffered
a stroke or have progressive neurological conditions such as multiple
sclerosis, motor neurone disease and
Parkinson’s disease.



It currently costs more than £2 million per year to run Thorpe Hall so
they rely heavily on the support of the local community.
